¡Hijole! I just lost a whole entry. Damned guatemalan internet. I´m too frustrated and tired to retype the whole thing so here is a summary.
Mother´s Day. yesterday. Awoken by fireworks. Firecrackers all day. Happy Mother´s day mom, I blew off my finger. What better way to say "I love you mom" than Domino´s pizza. Domino´s pizza delivers in 30 minutes or less (45 in tico Time). Delivery guy drives a dirt bike. German sees dirt bike and craves pizza. Tonight We´re skipping dinner with family and eating pizza at Gringo Bar. Tonight is German´s last night in Xela. Also making an appearance is Michelle, new student from Michigan. Hippy. Hairy. Vegan. Speaks Japanese. My Stomache has decided to stop wrestling with my Spleen. [If anyone can tell me what a spleen is for, you win the grand prize. Points for creativity.]

Matt.. i finally saw the Fensler GI Joe films. Now my life is complete.
Hey Matt,
I've just started reading your blog and I'm not exactly sure what the spleen does, except that it aids in your immune system. My mom had hers removed over a decade ago after she fell and ruptured it - she now has to be very careful about illnesses (like colds, flu, etc). But you can live without your spleen. It's good to have, but if it's removed you'll be okay, for the most part. Probably not good to lose your spleen if you already have an immune-deficiency.
Also, I'm over at your house right now - BJ wants me to tell you that 'spleen' rhymes with 'clean' and thinks that maybe that has something to do with it (I'd say no, but we'll humor the girl). Zoe is zonked out on your kitchen floor. She played and played with Aaron's parent's dog this afternoon and I guess hours of wrestling can really wear a dog out.
